Thanks @timethief - It's not a huge file, I am attempting to only import the blog posts from the last few months, as the other site is and will remain live on WP.org [ sistersthriftboutique.com ], but I would rather use WP.com for the blogging community.
The WP.com site is domain mapped on [ sistersthriftboutique.org ] to help keep them separate.
I'm not sure how to delete the posts on the self-hosted site, other than manually delete them once the export/import is successful.
