Welcome to the round up and as you can see from the Christmas Tree decoration above… I am getting into the festive spirit. I have posted three of the four promotions that will be running from the 13th of November so that you have an opportunity to get your requests in early.
I am delighted to say that I already have several guests booked in for Christmas Reading, Christmas stories and Bloggers around the Christmas Tree. I hope you will find it a great way to promote your blogs, books, artwork, craftwork, poetry etc as well as have some fun along the way. As you will see in the first promotional post I received a right earful from someone who felt that I should not be using the term Christmas for my promotions nor should any other bloggers or book promoters.
I have celebrated Christmas traditionally for over 63 years in many countries around the world with different religions and cultures. They have joined in our celebrations and we have thoroughly enjoyed sharing in their traditions. Everyone is welcome into my home and my blog to celebrate what I see as not just a religious festival but a time of family, friendship, love, harmony and humour.
I hope that nobody who visits my blog is offended… and will regard my celebration of Christmas in the manner in which it is intended.
I will feature the three promotions so far in the post.. One more to come tomorrow.
As always my thanks to William Price King for his hugely informative series on Luciano Pavarotti and the last in the series is this Wednesday. I will let you know then what the next series is likely to be to take us up to Christmas.
So here is the week that was…….
The Sunday Living History Interview series has come to an end for the time being and there will be a new series starting in the New Year. In the meantime however I do have some Living History guest posts that I will be featuring on week days. Here is the link to all the interviews in thes series.

William Price King takes us through the 1990s and some of the difficulties Pavarotti faced both in the operatic world and in his declining health.. but Luciano still won the hearts of millions of fans around the world with his stunning performances.

As a little postscript to the series, my father-in-law, Geoff Cronin, reminded me of a story about one of Pavarotti's most ardent fans
